one thing I hate about the gaming community is...

That they will use the "Every game is the same in that genre" logic, Granted I use to use that same logic for Jrpgs Untill I saw stuff like tales and Persona. This type of logic is mostly used to First Person Shooters, Which you guys should know I get really defensive on.

The reason why I hate this logic is that it makes said community look extremely biased.

Like Films, Every game in a genre has it's differences for Example try comparing Legacy of Kain to Devil may cry, yes they have Some similarities but they have their own stand out mechanics to make them their own thing.

Same will apply to fps games, Singularity and Rainbow six have similar elements, but Rainbow six is more tactical, while singularity is more about blowing stuff up and manipulating time for certain objects. Hell if you want more proof of that, I'd recommend gggmanlives's vid where he reviews loads of them and goes over each games own mechanics and what not.
